TUTORIAL: Online Refills

Refill Rx allows our customers to easily and quickly refill their prescriptions online! This brief 3-step tutorial will help you get acquainted with the Refill Rx system.

To begin using the Refill Rx system you must first get a Patient ID Number at the Pharmacy Desk.

IMPORTANT: Confidentiality is extremely important to People's Pharmacy. No patient sensitive information is transmitted: Refill Rx does not transmit patient name, address, or phone number.

Getting Started with Refill Rx

Enter the system by clicking the ‘Refill A Prescription’ button. Begin by typing your Patient ID Number into the box in the lower center of the Refill Rx entry page.

If you don’t yet have a Patient ID, visit People’s Pharmacy and ask the pharmacist for one.

After you’ve typed in your Patient ID, click the ‘submit’ button.

Refilling Your Prescription

After you have submitted your Patient ID, you will see a new screen, your Personal Rx Profile. To refill a prescription, click the small white box next to the name of your medicine.

If you have a message you would like to send to the pharmacy along with the prescription request, type it into the message box in the lower part of the page. Then click the ‘Refill’ button.

Prescriptions filled online will be available the next business day at 4:00 p.m. If you have no remaining prescription refills, the system will not allow you to complete your order, and you’ll need to contact your doctor.

Using the Reminder Service

The Refill Rx system can send you a reminder via email before your prescriptions are due to be refilled. Just scroll down to the bottom of your Profile page, enter your email address in the white box and click the ‘Update Email’ button.

You will receive a reminder email a maximum of once every 5 days as long as you have prescriptions due to be refilled. You will not be notified of refills that have expired or are presently scheduled for refill by Refill Rx.
